Whether you’re just getting started or have been selling on Resquash for a while, this page answers the questions merchants ask most often. If you don’t find what you’re looking for here, visit the Merchant Help Center or reach out to the support team — we’re here to help.
Getting listed is straightforward. Go to merchants.resquash.com and click Sign Up. You’ll be guided through creating your merchant account, entering your business details (name, category, address, contact information), and setting up your first listings. Once you submit your application, Resquash’s team reviews it and notifies you by email when your storefront is approved and live.
Most merchant applications are reviewed and approved within 1–2 business days. You’ll receive an email confirmation as soon as your account is approved and your storefront is visible to customers. If you haven’t heard back after 2 business days, check your spam folder or contact support@resquash.com with your application details.
Listing your business on Resquash is completely free — there are no monthly subscription fees or setup charges. Resquash charges a small per-transaction platform fee on each order you complete through the app. This fee covers payment processing and platform costs. The exact percentage is displayed in Settings → Payments in your merchant portal once your account is active.
Customers discover businesses on Resquash through several channels:
  • Search — customers can search by business name, product, or service keyword
  • Category browsing — customers browse by category (e.g., Home Services, Food & Beverage, Lifestyle & Gifts)
  • Location-based discovery — Resquash surfaces nearby businesses to customers based on their location
To improve your visibility, make sure your listings have clear, keyword-rich titles and descriptions, high-quality photos, and up-to-date availability. Merchants with strong response rates and positive reviews are ranked higher across all discovery methods.
Yes. Download the Resquash merchant app on iOS or Android to manage your storefront, respond to customer messages, process orders, and track payouts from anywhere. The app provides the full merchant experience — everything you can do in the web portal at merchants.resquash.com is also available on mobile.
Resquash currently supports three top-level merchant categories:
  • Home Services — cleaning, repairs, landscaping, moving, tutoring, and other residential services
  • Food & Beverage — restaurants, cafes, bakeries, meal prep, catering, and packaged food producers
  • Lifestyle & Gifts — retail goods, handmade products, wellness, personal care, and specialty items
Each category includes subcategories to help customers find you more precisely. If you’re unsure which category fits your business best, select the one that most closely matches your primary offering — you can also contact support to discuss placement.
To update your business hours, log in to merchants.resquash.com and go to Storefront → Business Hours. Set your open and close times for each day of the week, and mark any days you’re closed. Save your changes and they’ll be reflected on your storefront immediately. Customers browsing your profile will see your current hours and whether you’re open right now.
If you need to pause your storefront — for a vacation, a busy period, or any other reason — go to Storefront in the merchant portal and toggle your status to Unavailable or Temporarily Closed. Customers who visit your profile will see that you’re currently closed, and new orders or booking requests will be paused until you reopen. When you’re ready to resume, switch your status back to Open and your storefront will be active again immediately.
