Creating a Resquash account is the first step toward discovering the best local businesses in your neighborhood. The process takes about two minutes and requires only basic information — your name, email address, and zip code. Once your email is verified, you’ll have full access to browse merchants, open conversations, and make purchases, all from within the app.

Account Creation Walkthrough

Open the App and Tap 'Create Account'

Launch the Resquash app after installing it from the App Store or Google Play. On the welcome screen, tap Create Account. If you already have an account, tap Sign In instead to return to your existing profile.

Enter Your Full Name

Type your first and last name in the fields provided. Resquash displays your first name to merchants you chat with, helping them greet you personally. You can update your display name at any time from your profile settings.

Enter Your Email Address

Provide a valid email address you have access to. Resquash uses this address to send your verification link, order confirmations, and important account notifications. Use an email you check regularly so you don’t miss time-sensitive updates from merchants.

Enter Your Zip Code

Type in the zip code for your primary shopping location — typically your home address or the area where you want to find local businesses. Resquash uses this to populate your home feed with merchants who can actually serve you, so accuracy here directly affects the quality of your local results.
Enter the zip code where you spend most of your time rather than a work address or a location you visit infrequently. The closer your zip code is to where you actually shop, the more relevant and useful your business recommendations will be.

Create a Secure Password

Choose a password that is at least eight characters long and includes a mix of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols. Resquash enforces minimum password strength to keep your account and payment information safe. You can also enable biometric login (Face ID or fingerprint) after your account is set up.

Verify Your Email Address

Check your inbox for an email from Resquash with the subject line Confirm your Resquash account. Open the email and tap Verify My Email. This step confirms you own the address and activates your account. If the email doesn’t arrive within a few minutes, check your spam or junk folder, then use the Resend Verification Email option in the app.

Complete Your Profile (Optional)

After verification, Resquash may prompt you to add a profile photo and set your notification preferences. These steps are optional but recommended — a profile photo helps merchants recognize you across visits, and tailored notifications ensure you only get alerts that are relevant to your shopping habits.

After Your Account Is Active

Once your email is verified, you land directly on your personalized home feed, populated with local businesses near your zip code. From here you can browse categories, tap into merchant profiles, and open your first chat. Your account details, order history, and saved businesses are all accessible from the Profile tab at the bottom of the screen.
Resquash takes your privacy seriously. Your zip code is used exclusively to surface nearby businesses — it is never shared with merchants or third parties. Your full address is only requested at checkout when a merchant needs it for delivery or service scheduling, and even then it is stored with end-to-end encryption.

Troubleshooting Account Creation

First, check your spam or junk folder. If it’s not there, return to the Resquash app, go to Settings → Account, and tap Resend Verification Email. Make sure the email address shown on that screen is spelled correctly. If the problem persists, contact Resquash support from the app’s Help menu.
Yes. Go to Profile → Account Settings → Location and update your zip code at any time. Your home feed will refresh immediately to reflect businesses near your new location. This is useful if you move or want to explore a different neighborhood.
Each email address can only be linked to one Resquash account. If you need a separate account for business purchasing, use a different email address. Note that each account maintains its own order history, saved merchants, and payment methods.
Do not share your Resquash password with anyone, including merchants. Resquash staff will never ask for your password. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, go to Profile → Account Settings → Security and tap Sign Out All Devices immediately, then reset your password.
