Resquash lets you go from conversation to confirmed order without switching apps or re-entering information. Once you’ve settled on the details with a merchant, completing your purchase takes only a few taps — right inside the chat thread where everything was discussed.

Orders vs. Bookings

Resquash supports two types of transactions depending on what you’re getting from a merchant:

Ordering a Product

Used for tangible items — groceries, prepared food, gifts, and other physical goods. You’ll tap Buy to purchase and choose delivery or pickup at checkout.

Booking a Service

Used for scheduled work — cleaning, repairs, personal care, and similar services. You’ll tap Book to reserve a time slot and confirm the scope of work.
The checkout flow is nearly identical for both. The key difference is that bookings ask you to select a date and time, while product orders ask you to specify a delivery or pickup preference.

Confirm the Item or Service in Chat

Before tapping Buy or Book, make sure you and the merchant have agreed on:
  • The specific product(s) or service(s) you want
  • Pricing, including any add-ons or customizations
  • Delivery or pickup details (for products) or the appointment date and time (for services)
The chat thread serves as your record of what was discussed, so there’s no ambiguity when you move to checkout.

Tap Buy or Book

Once everything is confirmed, tap the Buy button (for products) or the Book button (for services) that appears in the chat thread or on the merchant’s product/service listing. This opens the Resquash checkout screen pre-populated with the item or service details from your conversation.

Review Your Order Summary

The order summary screen shows you everything before you commit:
  • Item name, description, and quantity (or service type and scheduled time)
  • Itemized pricing, including any applicable fees
  • Your selected delivery address or pickup location (for product orders) or appointment address (for service bookings)
  • Estimated delivery time or service window
Make any necessary adjustments before proceeding.

Confirm Payment

Select your preferred payment method from your saved options or add a new one, then tap Confirm & Pay. Your payment is processed securely within the Resquash app — full details in the next step.

Receive Your Order Confirmation

After payment is processed, Resquash sends you an in-app notification and an order confirmation that includes:
  • A unique order number for reference
  • A summary of all items or services purchased
  • The merchant’s contact details
  • Estimated delivery time or your confirmed appointment date and time
Your order is also logged in the Orders tab so you can track its status at any time.
Payment is processed entirely within the Resquash app through an encrypted, secure checkout flow. Never share your credit card number, bank details, or any financial information directly in the chat — the merchant does not need this information, and Resquash handles all payment processing on your behalf.
If you need to cancel or modify an order after confirming payment, contact the merchant immediately through the chat thread. Cancellation policies vary by merchant — check the business profile or order confirmation for details before reaching out.
