How to Order Food and Drinks

Find a Restaurant or Vendor

Open the app and tap Food & Beverage in the category browser, or search for a specific cuisine, restaurant name, or dish. Browse profiles to see hours, menu highlights, photos, and customer ratings.

Browse the Menu and Customize Your Order

Tap Message to open a chat with the vendor. Browse their menu directly in the chat or on their profile page. Ask about daily specials, seasonal items, allergens, or any customizations — the merchant responds in real time to make sure your order is exactly right.

Place Your Order

Confirm your order items, quantities, and any special instructions in the chat. The merchant will review and accept your order, then give you an estimated prep time.

Choose Pickup or Delivery

Let the merchant know whether you’d like to pick up your order or have it delivered to your address. Confirm the details in chat, then complete your payment securely through Resquash.
When you order through Resquash, you’re ordering directly from the merchant — not through a third-party aggregator. That means no platform markup, no hidden service fees added by Resquash, and your money goes straight to the local business. Any delivery fees, if applicable, are set entirely by the merchant and disclosed in chat before you pay.

Ask Anything in Chat

The chat isn’t just for placing an order — it’s your direct line to the merchant. Use it to:
  • Ask about daily specials that may not appear on the standard menu.
  • Check for allergens — ask the merchant about ingredients in any dish, including cross-contamination risks.
  • Request customizations — swap a side, adjust spice level, request a sauce on the side, or ask about portion sizes.
  • Coordinate large or catering orders — share headcount, dietary restrictions, and delivery needs for events big and small.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. If you want your order ready or delivered at a specific time, simply tell the merchant your desired pickup or delivery time in the chat. For example, you might say “I’d like this ready for pickup at 12:30 PM tomorrow.” Merchants can confirm whether advance scheduling is available and lock in your time slot.
Resquash does not add its own delivery fees on top of your order. If a merchant charges a delivery fee, they set that amount themselves and will let you know in the chat before you confirm your order. Always check with the merchant if you’re unsure whether a fee applies.
Start by contacting the merchant directly through the chat in your Orders tab — they’re best positioned to quickly fix the issue or offer a remedy. If the merchant is unresponsive or the issue remains unresolved, reach out to the Resquash support team at support@resquash.com and include your order number and a description of the problem.
