Resquash puts your neighborhood’s best businesses at your fingertips. Whether you’re hunting for a plumber, craving takeout, or shopping for a unique gift, you can discover, filter, and connect with local merchants in seconds — all from the app’s home screen.

Open the Resquash App

Launch Resquash on your device. The home screen automatically surfaces businesses near your current location. Make sure location permissions are enabled so Resquash can show you the most relevant results.

Search or Browse

Use either of two discovery modes:
  • Search — Tap the search bar at the top of the screen and type a business name, service, or product (e.g., “pizza,” “house cleaning,” or “candles”).
  • Browse — Scroll through the curated feed of nearby businesses ranked by proximity and availability.

Filter by Category, Proximity, and Availability

Tap the Filter icon to narrow your results. You can apply the following filters independently or in combination:

Category

Choose from Home Services, Food & Beverage, or Lifestyle & Gifts to focus on the type of business you need.

Proximity

Set a maximum distance (e.g., within 1, 5, or 10 miles) to see only businesses close to you.

Availability

Filter for businesses that are open now or available within a specific time window.

Select a Business

Tap any listing to open its full business profile. Each profile displays:
  • Products and services offered, with descriptions
  • Real-time pricing so you always see current rates
  • Live availability — including open hours and booking slots updated on the fly
  • Photos, ratings, and a direct Message button to start a conversation
Map view vs. list view — Toggle between views using the icons in the top-right corner of the search results screen. Use map view when you want to find the closest option visually or plan a route, and list view when you want to compare multiple businesses side by side with full details like ratings and availability at a glance.
Business profiles reflect live data synced directly from each merchant. Pricing, menu items, and service availability update in real time, so what you see is always accurate before you reach out or place an order.
