How to Book a Home Service

Find a Local Provider

Open Resquash and tap Home Services in the category browser, or type what you need (e.g., “plumber near me”) into the search bar. Browse provider profiles to review ratings, service descriptions, and photos of past work.

Chat to Describe Your Job

Tap Message on the provider’s profile to open a direct chat. Describe the work you need done — include details like the room, the problem, and any relevant measurements or photos. The provider will review your request and send back a quote.

Review the Quote and Book an Appointment

Once you receive a quote you’re happy with, confirm the job details and choose a date and time that works for you. The provider will confirm your booking directly in chat.

Pay Securely Through Resquash

When the job is complete, pay the provider directly through the app using your saved payment method. Your receipt is automatically stored in the Orders tab for your records.
The more detail you share upfront, the faster and more accurately a provider can quote you. Include the problem description, approximate size of the area (for cleaning or painting jobs), photos if possible, and whether parts or materials are needed. This helps avoid back-and-forth and gets your appointment on the calendar sooner.

Availability varies by provider. Many professionals offer advance scheduling — allowing you to book days or weeks ahead for planned projects. Some providers also offer same-day availability for urgent repairs, which you can confirm by asking directly in chat. Check each provider’s profile or ask in your first message to understand their typical lead time.
